Terms & Conditions

Effective 19 October 2026. These terms apply when you use the Ogig website at ogig.app and the Ogig app.

1. About these terms

By using Ogig you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Ogig.

2. What Ogig is

Ogig is a platform that connects customers with independent service providers, vendors and mobile sellers. Ogig is not the employer, agent or contractor of any provider and does not perform the services. Providers are responsible for the services they offer.

3. Accounts

You must be at least 18 to create an account. Give accurate information and keep your login secure. You are responsible for what happens on your account. A Verified badge or an approved profile shows that Ogig completed a check. It is not a guarantee or endorsement of the provider or their work.

4. Pings, bookings and messages

Customers may send Pings and bookings only for real needs. Providers may claim Pings and accept bookings only if they intend and are able to do the work. Keep messages respectful and relevant to the job. Customers may cancel a booking before it is completed from the Bookings tab.

5. Payments

Ogig does not currently process payments between customers and providers. Agree the price and how to pay before work begins. Any agreement or payment is between the customer and the provider. If Ogig introduces payments or fees, we will show them clearly before they apply.

6. Ratings and content

Ratings and reviews must be honest and based on a completed booking. You keep ownership of what you post, and you give Ogig permission to display it on the platform for the purpose of running the service. Do not post anything unlawful, abusive, misleading or that infringes someone else's rights.

7. Acceptable use

Do not send fake Pings or bookings, harass or threaten others, offer illegal goods or services, copy or scrape Ogig at scale, interfere with how Ogig works, or try to access accounts or data that are not yours.

8. Approval and moderation

Ogig reviews new provider profiles before they appear on the map. We may pause, suspend, block or remove a profile or account that breaks these terms, puts others at risk, or is inactive or inaccurate. Where we can, we will tell you why.

9. Safety

Meet in a safe, public place where you can, confirm details in the chat before work begins, and report problems through the app. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services.

10. Availability and liability

We work to keep Ogig available and accurate but do not promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent the law allows, Ogig is not liable for the acts or omissions of providers or customers, or for losses that come from arrangements made between them. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Ending your use

You can stop using Ogig and delete your account at ogig.app/delete-account. We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken. Booking, review and dispute records may be kept where needed for fairness and security, as described in the Privacy Policy.

12. Changes and contact

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and continued use means you accept it. Questions: [email protected].
