Getting started with Ogig: from Ping to done in four steps

Ogig is a live map of service providers, vendors and mobile sellers. Here is how to get help, or get work, in minutes.

For customers

1. Send a Ping

Open the map, tap Ping and say what you need. Pick a category or type it, like "plumber" or "avocado". Choose how long it stays live, from 30 minutes to 24 hours.

2. A nearby provider claims it

Only matching providers close to you can see your Ping. The first to claim it opens a chat with you.

3. Chat and confirm

Check the price, timing and details in the chat. You can also browse the live map and book any provider directly.

4. Get it done and rate it

Follow the job from "on the way" to "completed", then leave a rating.

For providers and vendors

1. Create your profile

Sign up as a Service Provider or a Vendor / Mobile Seller. Add your category, your rate and a photo. The Ogig team reviews new profiles before they appear on the map.

2. Go live

Switch on Go Live to appear on the map, or use Spotlight to be featured for 4 to 72 hours with a message or offer.

3. Claim Pings

Pings that match your service and sit near you show up as requests. Claim one to start chatting with the customer.

4. Do the job and build your rating

Update the booking status as you go. Customers rate you after a completed job.

Allow location access for the best results. Ogig uses your location to show who is near you.
